Patagonia en fotos
El fotógrafo periodístico Daniel Feldman desembarca en la web con Patagonia en Fotos, un banco de imágenes de alta resolución hospedado en los servidores de madryn.com. Son 34 galerías que abarcan fauna, personajes, paisajes, arquitectura, ciudades, atractivos naturales y paleontológicos de la Patagonia.
Nieto del fundador del diario Jornada de Chubut, Daniel (42) creció en redacciones y ello le permitió conocer de primera mano el proceso por el cual los hechos se convierten en noticia.
De la multiplicidad de roles que intervienen en la producción de un periódico --muchos de los cuales ha cumplido en diferentes momentos de su formación--, Feldman escogió el de reportero gráfico.
Sus logros en esa área le valieron el reconocimiento del influyente diario argentino Clarín, que lo contrató en 1995 como corresponsal en Chubut y en el que ha logrado en diversas ocasiones uno de los objetivos máximos de sus colegas: "la foto de tapa".
"El formato digital me cambió la vida. Ahora saco la foto y me olvido del revelado. Ya está. Conecto la cámara a la computadora y 'mando'", resumió Daniel a este cronista en 2001 su primer salto tecnológico, entonces del filme a los bytes, en la escala de dispositivos de captura de imágenes.
En aquella oportunidad, hace exactamente dos años, el fotógrafo realizaba su primera exposición, titulada "Instantes", luego de haber seleccionado 36 imágenes en color logradas desde su ingreso en el diario Clarín. Por esos días también estrenaba su Nikon D-1, equipo con el que registró la mayoría de las imágenes que ahora muestra en el sitio hospedado por madryn.com.
Para todos aquellos amantes de la Patagonia, esta es una muy buena chance de hacer un recorrido visual por aquellas tierras enormes a través de imágenes de alta calidad.
